My grandfather allows me to drive
his car on Sundays. Yesterday, I considered whether I wanted to drive today or
stay home and do the assignments that I ignored for the past two days while on
a college visit. This morning my grandfather called and said that he is not
feeling well. I tried to avoid disappointment, but I enjoy driving and it is an
escape from the grueling things that comprise my agenda. I rested in my bed for
an hour after the call. About thirty minutes ago I wrote in my “planner” the
things I hope to achieve today. This story fulfills one of my tasks
for the day.
