GUIDANCE NEWS

Space is limited so please pass by my office (in between classes, at lunch time or after school) to sign up. I don't have all of the details at this time, but most likely this will be an all day trip.

FINANCIAL AID
Submitted by khirschfield on Mon, 03/05/2007 - 2:24pm.Mission Possible - This booklet includes useful tools, forms, checklists and financial aid information that students can use as they prepare for college beginning freshman year in high school.
FAFSA - contains an electronic version of the Federal Financial Aid application. This form must generally be filled out by all seniors before May. Check the website for specific deadlines.

STANDARDIZED EXAMS

ACT - provides information about the ACT Standardized Test and testing dates and options. It also provides financial aid and career planning support

SLA encourages students to utilize their summers to participate in community service, internships, essay contests and any other activity that is going to enhance their educational experience. It would serve to demonstrate well roundedness and unique personal assets that colleges are typically looking for.
