Color Square/Crossword

This project had two major parts, the color square puzzle and the crossword. For the color square puzzle, we had to solve the puzzle and then justify our solution. Same goes for the crossword.

Algebra Cell Phone Benchmark

This was one of the first constructive projects I can say I have ever had the pleasure of completing. each of the parts of this Benchmark were in parts and since i like to be neat and organized it worked well on this project. We had to get the usage of each partner in our group of 3. Then we were to figure out witch of the given plans were best for each person. Troy Robinson and Gracie Wagenveld were my partners. Gracie was the highest usage in minutes and the plan that worked for her was the flat rate plan.

Third Benchmark for Geometry

For this benchmark, we had to sketch out a town called Geoslaville.  We were given the road names and where to begin the first point.  We had to find where each building went and find the angle measure of each building.  Then we had to prove how we found each angle measure.  Part of our benchmark was to see how much we knew about platonic solids and line of symmetry.  The last part to our project was finding the volume and the surface area of the town hall.

Second Benchmark for Geometry

For this benchmark, we had to write justifications into why you could figure out answers for a crossword puzzle and a color square.  Its like explaining how things happen and how finding one answer would lead to another.  We had to prove our answers with the justifications like when we do T-charts to prove a statement.

First Benchmark for Geometry

This benchmark we were assigned a math genius to look up and write about.  My group had M.C. Esher who created designs that doesn't seem to be modeled.  All his designs were complex and takes a while to understand.

Math Third Benchmark

In this project we were set to find the rules a linearity in everyday objects. in my group were Laura Kriss, Charles Williams, and Jefferson Caulvin. My research subject
was how many programs a computer could have running at one time in comparison to how many Megabytes of memory it had. In addition with my research i had to answer questions about Jefferson Caulvin's data as well.

Algebra Second Benchmark

In this benchmark we were told to record the number of minutes we used on our cellphones per day and record it all into a chart. since not all of the kids had a cell phone, they were allowed to use our tezchers information for the cell phones. After we had

2nd Quater Benchmak

We examined how to chose which cell phone plan to use by all different methods. We did this using charts, graphs, and equations. We had to record and use data from our real cell phones. We also had to deal with made up data. Here it is...Benchmark...

First Quater Benchmark

We had to teach a math class. My group had to teach on the binary sequence. We had to study then perform and prepare our lesson. We prepared a lesson and work for the class to do. It was good for us and the class and us to learn.

Algebra First Quarter Benchmark

In the first quarter benchmark we were instructed to teach a portion of the class about one of the three topics. The Binary Sequence, the Fibonacci Sequence, And the Cubic sequence. My group of Sam Desantis, Shareesa Bollers, and me. Our groups initial teaching structure was to give a presentation on how to use the cubic sequence, and afterwards show a couple of ways to make the whole process quicker while giving them problems that rely on the cubic sequence.
