SLA

This is the in-class-writing we did on Hamlet and how the play fits into SLA's core values.

This is my fourth quarter benchmark for English class. It is an editorial from the point of view of a character in To Kill A Mockingbird.

This was an in-class writing assignment exploring a theme from August Wilson's play, Fences. We had an hour in-class to write the five-paragraph essay, then another hour to revise.

This essay was an analytical look at themes in Homer's Odyssey. I chose to dissect the role of environment in Telemachus' decisions.

After reading Funny in Farsi, by Firoozeh Dumas, we were challenged to write a memoir of our own, in vignette format. I chose to write about thanksgivings with my family, which always turn out to be crazy fun.

This is the me magazine project from the beginning of the year in Ms. Dunn's English class. We had to create a magazine about ourselves, as most people would guess from the title of the assignment.
