Question 1: what is the mission/ goal of your organization?

The overall goal of my organization is to give children a place to go to after school so that they will not be so unsupervised after school. the philosophy is that if the children are engaged in something there is less of a chance that they will partake other activities that may haunt them later on in life.

These are the sheets we had to fill out about the projects that we are presenting for the Humanities Fair on June 15, 2007.

The following project is a persuasive essay on why the King Tut artifacts should be displayed in the Franklin Institute. This was completed through numberous edits and succcessfully writen. I realized that the artifacts in the exhibit are more controversal than I thought, i did not think that displaying the specimens would be considered wrong or unjust.

The following project is a creative essay on a journey home.  This was completed through numberous edits and succcessfully writen.  Through writing this I realized how much description affects how the reader identifies with the story.

I have a full critique of the racist imagination of the creator of the movie Crash.  Sometimes the best of intentions don't necessarily equate to the best outcome.  Heavyhandedness, the white men as heroes, the people of color always at each other's throats...
