Track Has Strong Showing at Germantown!

SLA's Track team had their third meet this past thursday at Germantown. It was a lovely sunny day, perfect for a meet. Here are some of the meet highlights:

 

  • Marina Stuart jumped 15ft in the long jump (Personal best by 2 feet)
  • Natasha Ashby ran 28 seconds in the 200m to finish second in her heat
  • Ashley Etheredge improved to 29.5 seconds in the 200m to improve her mark
  • Cody Nichols ran 24.91 and 11.9 in the 100m
  • Jason Davis ran well in the 200m  
  • Dia Johnson ran a personal best of 12.5 seconds in the 100m
  • Will MacFarlane won the mile with 5:39
  • Alison Cample won the 3200m with 13:02 minutes (Personal best)
  • Mike Miller jumped 16’9” in the long jump, which was a personal best.
  • Sam Beccaria put a 29’ in the Shot Put. (This was a personal and team best.)
  • Sam Sirochman put a 26’ in the Shot Put
  • Yousef put a 27’ in the Shot Put
