Andrey Chekis's Music Creating and Education.

My capstone was about me improving my skills and knowledge in playing and creating music. Over the course of making my capstone I improved my general skills like playing guitar, improving finger dexterity with some warm up and exercises that were introduced to me by my mentor. Improved my knowledge by learning some music theory that helped me with some of the creation the song that I did.

This is my process paper that I did after making my capstone:

The current situation for the health care bill in the Senate. What is happening? What happened over the weekend? What is the path forward for potential passage?

The current state of the health care bill is that there is a lot of debates about the about the amount of money that will be spent on the bill do the fact that economy is still recovering. The people in the senate are trying to get lawmaker to guide the bill because the health system is broken.

Over the weekend the Republicans announced that they don't support the bill at all because they believe that the insurance companies would have the change their bans and rules about the existing conditions of the patient, which would mean that everyone would be able to get coverage and money would be lost.

If the democrats can't get at least some of the republicans to support the bell then there is a change that the bill might die or it will keep on going in circle of being passed unless things in it could be changed to meet the republican needs.

The roll that the executive branch should have in the passage in of the bill is when the bill is about to be  signed before being passed they should just have the last voice about the passing of the bill because if the president declines it then the bill still have a chance to be voted  to become a bill because of the 3/4 vote of the Senate and House leaving the decline that that president made useless. Since the executive branch represents the people they should be the one's to decide what's good for the people.

Election day 09

Today when i went to the voting place in my neighborhood I was surprised. Because there were about four people outside the place and one person inside I am guessing voting. There were less people in there then there were last year and last year it was about four people inside voting. Inside the place you didn't see any signs about what is going on and outside you didn't see anything about the election. I had to ask a person outside there where the place was because i wasn't sure about if it was the right place. Right after i finished taking my first picture a man told me that i was not allowed to take pictures, which surprised me because last year I was taking them freely and I saw other doing the same as well. I think the reason why there was not a lot of people at the polling place is because of the neighborhood that i'm in and because of the location of the polling place as well because it didn't even have signs about what was happening in it. The reason why you see so many differences is because people most likely didn't find this as important as the presidential election from last year and also honestly i do not really know who was being voted for today, which mean that the importance of the rank that those people are in something that people do not really care about. It is also possible that people might not know about this because in general they don't know about other election that could take place to be decided by other people.

If i could of had of the bills passed from the ones that i have picked i would of picked the H.R. 27- Medicare Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Act of 2009. The reason why i would of picked this bill over others is because at the current state that the U.S. economy is there is no need for people getting things free and keeping the money from circulating because first of all the government if loosing more money by giving free treatment to patient who try to cheat the system and this impacts everyone even the people who are not trying to cheat the system. There would be a chance for an increase of taxes because there is not enough money to pay for doctors and everyone else that works in the Medical industry and it also might cause a deeper economic downfall then what we have now.

In the US congress the bills that are getting passed are the bills that relate to freedom and peace. Which are shown here:

Link: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/subjects.xpd?type=crs&term=Sovereignty,%20recognition,%20national%20governance%20and%20status

Most of the these bills look more like somethings that could possibly make the Nation peaceful with other countries because many of the bills that are being passed now are talking about expanding its relation to other nations. So I believe that the reason why these bills are more important then the other one's that are waiting to be approved and sent to the senate to be approved is because this bills would most likely build trust with other countries and they might improve and increase the number of connection that U.S. has and expand resources.

 Nation Bill

H.R. 27- Medicare Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Act of 2009

Summary:  This bill is to prevent Medicare fraud and abuse by getting a background check on the people that are applying for Medicare programs.

Path Prediction: I think that this bill might actually have a easy time getting passed because if people abuse Medicare then there is chance that people might loose money and others would profit from it. People get the health care that are not suppose to would make the companies loose money and others that really need to get the care would not get it on time.

What make a good interview and a good Podcast?

The main thing that would make a good interview would be the question that are asked by the person that in interviewing. These question should be something that would make the person think and have them give a good idea of what they are going to say that would have the person that is interviewing want to ask them more questions and not ask questions that would be uninteresting to the person and not to annoy them. The question should be the kind that would engage the other person in conversation and have the question keep on going.

Blog Post #8

The lung cancer researchers created a test that can detect lung cancer with in a person body during any stage its in. The way that this test works is that it looks for any changes in a persons breath, since the changes in lung cancer cells cause changes in the production and processing of volatile organic compounds, which are then breathed out making the test or the name it goes by the colour sensor notice the changes that are within the person’s lungs.

“The researchers used the colour sensor to test the breath of 122 people with different types of respiratory disease, and 21 healthy people and also people with respiratory illness were 49 people with small cell lung cancer at various stages of development” stated by Science Daily. The results showed that the test was able to foresee the presence of cancer within three of the four people who have lung cancer, making this an easier way to see if people have lung cancer but that only this that’s not good about this devise is that it predicted that three out of the four people have lung cancer making it a little bit not as reliable as it could be.

Lung Cancer

Many people smoke during the time that we life in, like the adults and even the teenagers that some how get their hands on cigarettes. Since the teenagers start to smoke so early the addiction spreads over the years of smoking forming the deadly cancer cells with in your lungs creating lung cancer and other physical problems like problems breathing. These days cigarettes get to everyone especially children, it could be surely said that they know about the consequences but they ether do not acknowledge the consequences or they do not clearly understand the effects that they could upon your life, which is why their should be something that would prevent the consumption of cigarettes by teenagers.

Smoking cigarettes is not the only way to get lung cancer described by the eMedicineHealth website where it talks about possible causes or lung cancer. Some of the causes that are talked about on this website are second hand smoking by which is caused about 3000 deaths per year in U.S.. Air pollution that comes from factories and vehicles. En exposure to asbestos also increases the chances of getting lung cancer by 9 times especially when combined with cigarettes smoking it increases your chances up to 50 times the increased rate of getting lung cancer, by which this combination is also known to create a different type of cancer known as mesothelioma.
