SLA Students Honored at City Hall

On April 2nd, seven Science Leadership Academy students were honored for their commitment to excellence in academics. These seven students were part of the "Mayor's VIP" program, honored for having straight A's and perfect attendance. The SLA students were part of a group of over 200 high school students city-wide. Students were honored with a letter of congratulations and two tickets to a Phillies game in the Mayor's Box.

In addition, the Mayor's Office, in conjunction with the School District of Philadelphia, has announced its "4th Marking Period Challenge," rewarding the four students in each high school who show the most improvement in the 4th marking period.

Congratulations to Caroline Abdulbaki, Robert Albano, Chris Chan, Daniel Quach, Marina Stuart and Moriah Taylor for their excellence in academics and attendance!
