Right know our team is working on taking editing the lines for the final script we are going to use. The way we did this was by having each team member take the lines that they found during the first part of the benchmark and choose the most important lines from the ones they found so we could create the script. After that we will need to update the GoogleDocs so that our teacher can see our progress so far.

After we finished our script the only thing that we had a problem with was weather  we should delete the whole GoodleDocs and update it so it has our final script. This is a problem for us because we were not sure if we will need the information again. But this problem was solved by copying the information form the GoogleDoc so that we could look at if for future preferences.

 So far in this project wou team is doing good. In the group I am the team member and John is the play director. So far john and mostly finished his lines and Andrey and I have all of our lines finished. We have out google doc started as well and are adding any lines we find to it as well as updating thecheck list outside of the room.

Some things that have been a sucess for our group are that we able to devide the lines we need to findand were able to start finding lines right away. We have done everything that is needed so far including making the google doc and gettign everyone in the group to join it. One thing that I have been a little worried about is that Ashirah is in our group too and if she comes back then we will need to find a way to make her part of the project.

It has been a long project but I believe this is the last post that we need to do. But even though this is the last post it is only where the actions really begin. After this I still need to do everything else to continue the rest of this problem. Just because this project is finished doesn't mean that we can give up on trying to clean up the city.

It's a disaster. What could be a lovely nature preserve with ducks and swans has become a garbage-strewn dump. Shopping carts are in the creek. Plastic bottles, hubcaps and bags of garbage litter the shore. Is how a river is described on this website, and it is the same for the rivers and creeks in Philadelphia. I recently visited Penny pack Park with my family and as I walked along the creek I noticed several different shopping carts and other things through the entire creek. Seeing this only proves my point that Philadelphia needs to really clean up everything including the sources of fresh water such as the creek and an even better example would be the Delaware River.

A staggering two tons of litter was collected along Nenagh's N52 bypass last month during a special cleanup operation organized by the local Tidy Towns committee. That is a scary amount of litter to be found in one place. If something isn’t done about this in Philadelphia then we might have a similar amount in the near future. Thinking about what could happen if we don’t do anything is a scary thought if you think of the long-term effects of this problem. Philadelphia needs to wake up to this problem and see that there is a lot of work to do to keep the city clean and make it look better than it is.

I have finished 8 of my blog posts and will post the other two by Friday. I have my action plan ready and am orking on the final draft now. I should be able to have everything finished soon.

Right now there is a campaign going on in Texas called "Don't Mess with Texas" the campaign is launching a new effort to get Texans to use a litter bag in their cars and trucks. The "Rock the Bag" tour makes a stop at the Texas Relays track meet this week in Austin, where bags will be given away. There will be 28 stops in 16 cities to promote the program. A new study by the Texas Department of Transportation reveals that nearly all Texans know they shouldn't litter, but more than half do it anyway. Hopefully this campaign will help to influence the thoughts of the citizens of Texas. Maybe if something happened in Philadelphia like this then it would help to influence the cause of my project as well.

“Along Ohio roads that have needed clearing from snow over the winter months, crews will soon be clearing away something else: trash.” Is what it says on this website . I think that it is long past time that Philadelphia too finally takes the words Spring Cleaning and puts those two words into action. I feel that if everyone in the city would just take this problem a little more seriously then they would see that the fact that litter keeps getting worse and worse in the city then they would actually see the need for it to be cleaned.

I think that my project is comming along very well. I have finished my e pitch and am ready to continue my research for the remaining blog posts. Other than that i don't really have any problems with what I still need to do. I should be able to have everything that is due submitted soon.
