On Wednesday April 1st, Anna Roman scored three goals and Rita Willard added a pair to lead SLA Girls' Soccer team to a 6-1 win at Olney High School. This was the first win for the girls' squad in its inaugural year.

In addition to Roman and Willard, players making notable offensive contributions included Emma Connell (one goal) and Natasha Ashby (two assists). Cassandra Townson and Christine Walden anchored the defense. Goalie Sofia Frank-Fischer made three saves in the victory.

The team’s record now stands at 1-1. The Rockets next game will be against Frankford on Monday, April 13th.
