Peoplealways tell me that I speak strangely, my slang is abnormal and my Englishisn’t perfect. Spoken or written language is the method of human communication. So there is no correct way of communicatingwith someone. People communicate how they choose, depending on theirenvironment. When I am with my best friend we create our own language, we saywhatever comes to mind and we still understand each other. We never noticed itbut our parents have, they tell us maybe because we understand each other best,we always have an idea of what we are going to say.

This is our Q2 Benchmark about how to take care of your teeth,our topic was the SSC notice and it was about, taking care off your teeth, it included what things you shouldn't eat. 

 I liked that my group and I worked well together. 

We got our work done on time, but our topic was easy, so we did not always use or time wisely.

Phillies are everything to the city right now. It has been 28 years since we have won the world series. To not be involved in an event so historical would make me feel like I am not a part of this city. I would love to be a part of this memorable celebration. When a sport team plays another team, they represent our city. Sports are important to a city's identity because it shows what talent Philadelphia has and it demonstrates how strong of a city we are for us to have made it this far. To finish this I would to say Go Phillies, it may have taken 28 years but we did it again!!

Yesterday was supposed to be my first day of my ILP. But CHOP decided that I was a "NO." I was told with a few of my other classmates that we had meet with Jeremy. When I had to be detained in school. I was then told that I have to go to CHOP but I had to write 5 goals for my ILP and show them to Jeremy. After that I was dismissed. This made me so FRUSTRATED. I am very upset at the fact that I have no idea what my ILP is about and what responsibilities I will have. Nothing about my ILP seems good. My ILP seems like it is going to be challenging.

In english class, we have been learning many things. Currently we are reading Hamlet. This book is very interesting. There are so many things going at once that I get confused. Reading Hamlet I have been able to excercise my brain. There are so many new words, lessons, themes and motifs to learn at once.

This classroom not normal at all. This is one english class where we also speak spanish. I'm used to using simple worksheets where we learn about basic English concepts but in "The Classrom Of Love " we learn about things that will help is in life and become better readers and writers. We discuss everything from how is Hamlet both seeming crazy and being crazy to Good News.We also compare books like Hamlet and The Odyssey to movies like the Lion King and other things that are going on on our life. In this class everything is so fun.

When we read books we act things out, we also learn with many activities such as SUHUPU. This gives us a chance to be Physically active. In the classroom of love we equally use out laptops and books. In the first part of class we might write in our journals and the next part we might complete a journal on Moodle.

This class has giving me the opportuninty to feel involved in everything. We always have a discussion, read books or just talk about things that go on in our lives. This class is not just english class its a home within a second home and maybe a bit of therepy.

This is my Q2 benchmark.For this project I had to take pictures of onion cells and cells of other organisms. Then use the pictures and put them in a powerpoint. If I could do this diferently I would out organize my pictures from the time I took them instead of waiting until I had to make the powerpoint.

For this project I had to write  a recipe for a food in Spanish. I used my notes and Word Reference to complete this. If I could do this project again I would memorize my lines for my presentation.

This Benchmark is about a guide of philadelphia. This guide gives descriptions and directions to places that I pass by on a daily basis.

This is my Q3 algebra benchmark. We had to create graphs based on what we want to be when we grow up and how much money they make. Thw purpose of this benchmark is to understand linear relationships, collect data, and analyze our findings. We had to find one set of data with positive correlation (as the x increases the y increases) and one set with negative correlation (as one variable increases, the other decreases).
