ILP

Currently I don’t have an actual ILP and have been spending the past few weeks working in the school’s office answering phones with Miss. Dianna.  However before my allergies forced me to transfer to the office (they have like 4 dogs), I was interning at Ground Zero Center City Salon. I did a lot of work with inventory and organization, and learned a bit about styling hair and washing. This experience was pretty fun but I didn’t get what I planed to out of it. I wanted to learn a lot more about doing hair and working with people then what I had gotten after this experience. Originally I had wanted to be a hairdresser when I graduated, but now I think I’m going back to my other idea of going into travel. It didn’t really teach me anything that would help me with school nor help me to come up with an ILP idea for next year. If your planning on pursuing a future ILP such as this I strongly suggest that you really look into it and be sure that you learn what you want to learn while there. Don’t get my wrong, I actually really liked my time at GZCC but I do wish that I had learned more then I did in my time there.
