A student at SLA

I am a student at Science Leadership Academy (SLA), and in my English class I have been reading Hamlet. If you don't know what is about, Hamlet is a play by Shakespeare. It is a play full of intriguing crimes, love, cheating and lying. It is a very interesting book. The way we interpret the play has been a fun experience for my classmates and me. We have been doing skits of insults in Shakespeare language (this was before we started reading the book), we have also been taking quizzes on the passage that we had for homework that day. The quizzes consist on many different quotes from the Act and scene that was for homework. We have to translate that quote into modern language and explain the importance of each quote and how it is going to influence the play in the next act/scene. Also we have been watching important parts of the movie, to see how different directors choose to place the characters in their movies and to watch the way the actor reflected what Hamlet, the queen, Polonius etc. were feeling in the book.
