No, honestly I hadn’t a clue whatmy friend was referring to; my room is a cluttered mess.

History Benckmark

The King Tut Diner was a skit that me and my grouppreformed. It consisted of 5 different pieces, the script, seating chart,invitations, menu, and the press release. Each had to be very detailed and haveresearch and time put into it. The main characters were the Bureaucrat (Noble),Priest, and Farmer. Any extra characters that were consistent with AncientEgypt.

            Thecharacter I played was the scribe. He is the official documenter and advisor tothe King. My part in the project was to collect, edit, and add onto thedialogue from each individual character. I liked working in teams. Its great tocollaborate and bounce ideas of each other.

Spanish 2 Benchmark

            Mi Verano in English is My Summer. This is a story,fictional or non-fictional, that depicts a summer event. All the words of thisproject had to be in Spanish and it had to have either recorded audio orspeaking during the presentation. My story is completely fictional. Its about ateenager that travels from a Spanish speaking country in Africa to America. Theteen goes to Florida for a motorcycle racing championship event. After the racethere is a whole scene with a shark and a rioting group of animal protectors. Afterthe teen returns home in time for the release of a popular movie.

My Energy Plan Paper

My engineering teacher is Mr. VK. He was talking to us about the different types of energy and how we are going to have to switch to a  more reliable type(s) of energy because the energy that we are using is running out and it will get to a point where it won't  able to cover the amount of energy that is used  by an average American daily. He had us write a paper about our fuel plan for the next 50 years. We had to work alone on this benchmark.

My math teacher is Mr. Rochestor and for the math benchmark, I  had to finish the mini project , which had a lot of simple problems in it. It was like a mini test. It was used to inform us about how to find the circumference and area of a circle, how the circumference and area of a circle is connected to the circumference and area of a rectangle, and many more related topics. This wasn't a group activity.

My spanish 2 teacher is Mr. Bey and for my Spanish 2 benchmark,I had to make a presentation explaining and telling about  a summer story.I learned how to record our voices on keynote, use instant alpha, and mask our pictures.I had a blast making this presentation because I got to play around with the picture and sound of the slide.

For the history benchmark, wetraveled back to ancient Egypt. We were invited to a diner that they wereholding in the palace to celebrate King Tut. We made skits, press release,menu, invitation, and a ceremony.

For this benchmark, I had to workwith Barry, Elisa, Jareese, and Markia. I made the invite, Elisa made theceremony, jareese made the menu, Barry made the press release, and we all madeour own skits nad merged htemm together.

If we were to do ot again, Ithink we would all agree on rehearsing our skit a little more.

Our history teacher is Mr. Sherif,and  for the history benchmark, wetraveled back to ancient Egypt. We were invited to a dinner that they were holding in the palace to celebrate King Tut. We made skits, press release,menu, invitation,and a ceremony that we had to perform during the dinners. For this benchmark, we had to work in groups. We had to perform a skit and to get into  character, we each had to research more about how our characters lived their daily lives. We wrote our scripts according to what we researched.

Our history teacher is Mr. Sherif and for this benchmark we had to write about and present the story of a scientist. We had to make an application, profile and presentation. We had to work in groups, or partners rather, for this benchmark. We only had 5 minutes to present our information,which made it kind of hard to get all of the details in.

my english benchmark

Basically thisbenchmark was about a specific diary entry form the freedom writers. We had towrite about and support the specific entry that we wrote about we had to letpeople know what is useful about that entry. Many people think that kidsshouldn’t expose to real life, but through this benchmark we learned otherwise.
