Egg Lab
Q3 Biochem Benchmark
Submitted by Rumman Haq on Sun, 04/06/2008 - 18:29.
A. For this project, we placed an egg inside ethanoic acid and also placed the egg in two other liquids.
B. To complete this lab, we had to collect the data and choose two of our own liquids. My partner and I also placed the egg in motor oil and Coke.
C. If I could do this project again, I wouldn't use motor oil because it made a mess.
Egg Cell Lab

This is my Q3 benchmark for Bio-Chem. This project was about egg cell permeability and why we think it is happening.
Q3 Bio-Chemistry Benchmark Project
Submitted by Cody Nichols on Tue, 03/25/2008 - 13:38.
In this benhcmark project we had to see how permeable an egg is, in the environments of three different liquids. We recorded our data, and made a research paper out of all of our information.

we studied how an egg would react to different chemicals.
Q3 BIOCHEMISTRY BENCHMARK
Submitted by Harrison Talese-Rhodes on Mon, 03/24/2008 - 17:31.
For our Q3 biochemistry benchmark, each student and a partner submerged eggs in different fluids to test the selective permiability of an egg cell. It was helpful being able to observe a cell without having to look under a microscope. My parter, Aidan Jamison-Frank, and I first exposed the egg to vinegar, then proceeded to expose it to a baking soda solution, and then we put it into more egg.
