In my science class we had a benchmark and we had to do a slide show on a great scientist and make a point on why they should win the science award. We were assigned to get research on our person so we could gather information on them and so we could prove a point about our person. We had to slip this project with a partner that you had a choice to choose. Many people made very good choices on their partners. We were giving time in every science class to work on it.
Math Benchmark

In my math class we had a benchmark project. The project was base on scaling things down from their actual sizes so the item could fit on the blueprint. First, we were assigned to go home and selected five items out of your house that you would put in your room and measure their actual sizes. Then when we got to school we scaled the sizes down by first dividing the actual size by 2.54 then multiply it by 20. After that process it was at a size where it could fit on the blueprint. Each group consists of 3 to 4 people in each group.
