Dear President-Elect Obama,
Congratulations on your election to the office of the Presidency. I look forward to your Presidency with hope and happiness.
During your campaign, you talked about your energy policy, which included the use of clean coal technology. However, clean coal technology is not clean, and coal will never be a clean source of energy. The toxic byproducts of coal are not magically neutralized through the process to make “clean coal.” They are simply captured in filters. But those filters need to replaced every six months or a year, and they have to be stored somewhere.

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,
You have been handed a crumbling country, one that is divided in ideas, and goals. I am worried that the country will have a hard time pulling together in this rocky time. I am worried that without us coming together nothing will get done to get us out of this mess.

If I could vote you would have been the one I voted for. Notjust because of you excelling health care plan and your stability duringdebates but because you have a good head on your shoulders unlike more then afew presidents from the past. You prove that color doesn’t matter and eventhough people oppose you, you still prevail. You went through the process ofbecoming president and after hard work and dedication you succeeded. I was actually becoming tired andaggravated by what the people were electing to run the country. You are in atough position, and need to pull this country out of the gutter that it hasbeen kicked into.

Dear Mr. President,
First I would like to say congratulations on your win. I am honored to be able to witness such a historical event and I feel confident that you will lead us in the right direction.
To be honest there are a few things that I am concerned about. You have a lot of pressure on your shoulders. Changing the world is a lot easier said then done. Then again changing the world in a negative way can happen in a second. NO PRESSURE. Hopefully you winning this election will not affect you in a way where you forget everything you’ve promised.

Dear President Barack Obama,
I am very glad to see someone such as yourself come into the White house, especially in these troubled times. Just to get things straight, the fact that you are of African American origin is not a factor as to why I believe you are our country’s best choice right now. It is your policies and strategies that I believe will help get America back on its feet. On another note, I read the email Ralph Nader sent you attempting to expose your so-called cowardice. This has not shaken my view of you at all and only strikes me as a desperate cry from a dirty politician to start drama over a victorious candidate. But alas, let’s move on to why I am writing this letter.

Dear President Elect Barack Obama, I want to first start out by saying congratulations on your winning the American presidency as the first African America. Your win as proven that America as moved passed the idea of race. Sadly, I'm not one to shout out "Yes We Can" due to my belief in the power the Republican Party. As a young Republican I need to know what direction you plan to take this country in and that includes the Republicans. I'm writing this letter in response to Ralph Nader's open letter that was addressed to you. I want to get to the point of why I'm so intrigued by what you plan to do for the Republican people. This is why.
