The mission of the ILP Program is to prepare students to enter adulthood by giving them the opportunity to develop and answer questions about their career goals, gain real experience working with adult mentors in the working world and expand the classroom into the city of Philadelphia.
Not only do students from the Science Leadership Academy get real work experience, they also get to engage in service that truly benefits our local community. We hope students’ experiences will help them gain insight into their potential career goals, and allow them to apply their academic knowledge to real-world problems.
