Goals para Proyecto de Conversación

Posted by Tenzin Ngawang in SP3-005 on
My goal for the conversations in general would be to speak a little more fluently and understand how a native speaker usually speaks and how to keep up with the conversation. I have a problem with pronunciation and that is also one of my goal.

I have couple of spanish friends who speak spanish fluently and I'm going to have little chat with them.

Goals

My goal is to talk in spanish slightly fluently.
- To not use any english words in between.
- Try not to stutter and space out a lot.

I already talked to a telemarketer in spanish. He was laughing a little because I asked him if he could speak spanish to me for my school project. He was really nice though, he helped me a lot.

Umm . . .

Conversation Goals

- Keep going with the conversation without stoping or saying "Umm" a lot.

- Make the conversation flow better and not stumble over words I do not know how to pronounce.

- Learn how to use conjugations better and make sure I am using them correctly.

I want to know more about the spanish speaking countries and I think it is better to learn from them instead of something read on the internet or text book.

What is normal day in your country?
What do you do for fun?
What type of music do you listen to?
How is the education in your country?
What do you dislike about your country?

Some of my main goals are:

-talk about experiences

-add more detail to stories

-simply hold a conversation

-think of different/new questions to ask people

-correctly use spanish grammar

Some question could be:

What do you like to do in your city?

 How is your family doing?

What is your favorite type of food? etc...

My Conversational Goals

-Become more familiar with using conjugations in speaking rather than writing.

-Replacing words like uh,um, and like with bueno, pues, and este.

Describe yourself.

Describe your daily routine.

What were you family or friends doing this weekend?

What are some slang words that you and your friends use?

What was the assignment?  What did your group decide to do and why?

This assignment was to use our knowledge of ser, estar, the past perfect tense, and the subjunctive to create a video/podcast dealing with relationships. The purpose of this assignment was to combine everything that we know into one medium of presentation. Our group decided to do a TV dating show because we thought that it was the most creative way to show what we had learned. It was more entertaining and we were able to use different sound effects to enhance the final product.

What did you learn from this project?

From this project I have learned to used ser and estar in multiple ways and in practical conversational situations that you would encounter in everyday life. I also improved on my Spanish fluency and pronunciation. I also got to further practice my use of the subjunctive and past present tense.

How do you feel about your final product?

I think that the final product is very well edited and polished.
We worked really hard to make our presentation as perfect as possible and our hard work has definitely instilled in us great confidence in our video.

If you could do your project all over again, what would you do differently/same?

One thing that I would do again is working outside of class on our script and video. I would have also use the same form of presentation.

One thing that I would do differently is extending our script so that we could have had a longer video.

What did you learn from doing this project?

During this project, I learned how to conjugate more fluid sentences and I also got a hang of the pronunciations.

How do you feel about your final project?

I feel confident in our final project. My acting skills aren't prepared for a Grammy award, but it's good enough - for a high school student.

If you could do your project all over again, what would you do differently/the same?

If I could do my project all over again, the only thing I'd change is having more time to film and rehearse the script. I feel like we just jumped into writing and editing that we didn't put much thought into the actual screenplay. So we performed the project as we went along.
