To kindle or not to kindle

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in STORY-002 on
I think it's sad, that I have accepted the fact I won't read many books unless I get a Kindle.
Only because I know I won't carry a big book around to read out of enjoyment. I love reading, I just don't want to have to carry the book around. I think it might be time for me to join team Kindle. I feel okay with this, as long as I don't join team ipad.

The other man

Posted by Graham Davis in STORY-002 on

The Other Man.

She looks at me with eyes of emptiness.

She looked right through me.

Across to the other man on the other side.

I am invisible. But my floating, beating heart is the

only thing that is seen

She walks through me.

To the other man.

She is held.

By the other man.

She is kissed.

By the other man.

Hair was stroked.

By the other man.

My heart stopped floating.

There was now a hole in it.

Put there by

The other man.

My stories

Posted by James Seward in STORY-002 on
I was bored so i wrote this stroyline.  Minato Asagi was your normal high school student. He was an A, B student, and captain of the kendo club, Student council member and boyfriend to the prettiest girl in school, Yukari Todowashi.  Although he was average at most things, the one thing he excelled at over any other was card games.  Be it Yu-Gi-Oh or Blackjack, Minato was the undisputed champion. All of that changed when one day, The resident reserved girl of the school, Hinata Yamagishi, beat him at his own game, then claimed to hate him and card games in general.  Determined to find out more, Minato follows her and is suddenly dragged into her world as they are attacked, his powers activate and he is teleported to the far off land of Sensori.  Now, with his powers, his new teammate and his will, he must learn to survive and unravel the secrets in this card based death world.

MJ the Experience

Posted by Amber Housley in STORY-002 on
My brother and I played Michael Jackson the Experience today. He never really wants to play the game because he does not score higher than me. I always have to manipulate him to play by saying things like, "You'll win" and "We'll just play ONE round". After a few minutes, he'll reply, "Okay, just ONE round." That one round turns into about three to five. Of all the wii games I have played, this is my favorite.

Mark Twain

Interesting autobiography should be checked out by Mark Twain. It is 100 years overdue to the public and sheds light on his ideas. Overall thoughts on the book is amazing and worth a read.
