In this art project we had to either copy a piece from our favorite artist, Make an original piece in the style of your favorite artist, or Create a piece that is imagery from artist that copies the style of another artist. I decided to make an original piece in the style of an artist. I used the style of the artwork "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. Since the ghostface mask worn by the killer in the movies "Scream", "Scream 2", "Scream 3" and the upsoming "Scream 4" was inspired by the painting i decided to use the Scream killer as the person in The Scream painting with The Scream's painting background.

For art our assignment was to draw an object and then decide how to put the letters of the object inside of the drawing. I decided to draw an eye. I think eyes have a lot of detail and their can be a lot of thing that you can put into it. I completed this proect by working on it every art class and sticking too it. I didn't change my object once I decided which one to do. I stuck to the one I was doing and worked hard at it.

This assignement had two main lessons to be learned. The first was the easier of the two. We were to draw an object and somehow fit the objects's name into the shape of the object. The hardest part of that was trying to figure out what to draw. Our options were limitless. The second task was to then scan that drawing into our computers and re-create it using Adobe Illiustrator CS3. This part was quite complicated and took a lot of time and effort as most of us had never even seen Adobe Illustrator, much less used it.

Before
After
Description: This project was about how to create an image from its word.We could choose anything we wanted to draw for this assignment. Some people chose to draw cities or even the world. However, I chose to draw lips. I don't really know why I chose to draw this but I found out the the outcome of this product turned out pretty well. I had difficulties with the letters trying to fit them into the shape of the lips so that it can curve and be angled in a sort of direction that goes well with the lips.

This assignment was about getting familiar with illustrator. It is an
extremely useful tool for the computer that, ever since I have learned,
has helped me put those finishing touches on my projects by being a
useful tool to editing pictures. The first step of this project was to
draw a picture with the name of the object incorperated into the
picture. For example I drew a grape vine so the letters g-r-a-p-e-s are
scattered within the grapes. Also I drew a 2nd patch of grapes with the
word uvas visible because a popular place to get grapes is in spain,
and since they speak Spanish in spain I wrote it in spanish. The next
step was to scan it onto the computer and trace it so that everything
is outlined and the letters look fancy. The final step is to take that

The assignment we did in advanced art was beginning to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator. This assignment taught us about graphic designing creating and editing images. In Adobe Illustrator we got to learn about the different tools and ways of editing, creating and outlining the images.
For this assignment, I drew and pencil and we scanned it onto the computer. We outlined the picture on Adobe Illustrator using the "pen tool". We created a different layer adding colors and effects. In the picture I added the word pencil fitting into the image. I changed the colors to make it look more creative and realistic.

The purpose of this assignment was to practice drawing/creating a shape and then writing the name of the shape in it. Once we were finished we scanned our creations onto our laptops. The next part of the assignment was to re-create the shape digitally.

This graphic design project had two parts. First, we drew an object of our choice and fit the name of the object inside it. Then our pictures were scanned into our laptops, so we could tranform them using Illustrator CS3. Using the variety of tools available, we were able to add color, shapes and a whole new look to our drawings.
For my project, I drew a green bell pepper. I was able to draw the letters so they formed the outline of the pepper. After I scanned it onto my laptop, I completely redid it. I outlined it and redrew the letters. I also added complementing colors.

Our assingment was to draw a picture, anything we wanted, and have a word that describes the picture inside of it. When we finished our drawing we had to scan them to our laptops. We used Photoshop and Adobe Illistrator, to edit our pictures.
For the assignment I drew the arm of a boxer, with his boxing gloves on. When I began to edit the photo I didn't know what I should do, I began to play with the tools in Illistrator and Photoshop and came with the idea that I will make my drawing look like a spray painting. I wanted it to symbolize something important as well, so inside I wrote what I wanted my drawing to symbloize, "violence".

In this project our teacher assigned us to pick a picture. The picture was suposed to be something that we could write down the words of what it was inside.Once we had drawn the picture than we wre suposed to color it in with anything. After that we scanned the picture into the computer and opened the picture up in Adobe Illustrater.
For most of this project we were editing the picture and making it different in different ways. We learned many different tools to using adobe illustrater. I tried to make my picture exactly how i drew it.

The assignment was to draw a picture with a word that describe the picture or what the picture is. Then we had to scan in on to our laptops and use Adobe Illustrator to edit and redo the whole thing. I had to trace the outline of the star first in a dark greenish color. Then I traced the letter of the word star in a dark yellow color. I used pen tool to help me trace. It was really difficult to make sure that the pen tool would turn and curve like the letter. If I could redo this project I think I would do a more difficult picture and experiment more with Adobe Illustrator.

Assignment: Our assignment was to create a drawing (word art) and include the description of the drawing in one word. We were given the option to use colored pencil, crayons, markers, charcol and various other tools to design our drawing. We were given around two weeks to complete the rough draft and we were then asked to scan the drawings onto our computer. We used an application on our computers called Adobe Illustator CS3to transform our artwork into a digital photo.

For this assignment, we had to create a piece of artwork, that displayed an image or object of our choics in a unique way. The name of the object or image had to be written or displayed some how or make up the image or object we were creating.
I created an image of a hand holding out an iPod, freehand.Showing allof the details of the Apple iPod. Then I sketched the words IPOD into the actual image of the iPod, with the circle of the iPod creating the O.

We were assigned to create an object in which its name would be inside
of it. Our options were very broad; it could've been anything from a
toothpick to an elephant. Once we drew our object and colored it in
using any medium we chose it was our job to make our image digital. Using Adobe
Illustrator, we had to recreate the object.
At first I was very confused, I wasn't sure what object to pick and
then when I finallly chose an object I couldn't find the right font
and colors to go with it. I was looking to deep into it because it truly wasn't
that difficult; it just had to be done without thinking, just a spur of
the moment thing. My friend Sam's glasses were sitting next to me and I
