Este artículo es sobre jugadores Latinos en las Grandes Ligas de Béisbol. 23.2%, o ciento noventa y ocho, de jugadores en estas ligas son Latinas. El año pasado, 24% de los jugadores eran Latino, y el año pasado de eso el por ciento era 24.2. La Republica Dominica tiene el más de los jugadores Latino, con ochenta y dos. Venezuela es el segundo, con cincuenta y nueve jugadores.
Los Rangers de Texas tiene el roster más diversidad cultural. Ellos tienen jugadores de nueve países: Canadá, Cuba, Curazao, Republica Dominicana, Japón, México, Puerto Rico, Corea del Sur y Venezuela.
Cuando nosotros estamos hablando sobre los Rangers, los Phillies no eran muy malo en su juego primera contra los Rangers. “Un vídeo muestra la transformación asombrosa de un veteran sin hogar”
Este artículo es un artículo bueno. Este es sobre un veterano sin hogar y pobre. Su nombre es Jim Wolf. Él vivió en las calles por décadas. En 2013 de septiembre, él se ofreció como voluntario para un transformación completa. Jim recibió un traje nueva, corte de pelo elegante, y clases para alcohólicos por primera vez. Jim era un alcohólico antes él era sin hogar. Así que ahora él tiene clases para su problemas de alcohólico. Después de la transformación física, Jim estaba muy sorprendido. Hay un vídeo de la transformación de Jim en YouTube. Ahora, el video es muy popular porque de Día de los Veteranos.
Yo elegí este artículo porque yo veo muchas personas sin hogar en la ciudad, cuando voy a la escuela. Es triste. Ellos no hay casas o familias. Y viendo el vídeo de Jim Wolf es muy bueno. A veces, yo espero todos las personas sin hogar puede tener una transformación, similar a Jim. Jim es un hombre afortunado. De este, yo aprendí que todos tienen una segunda oportunidad en vida.
Leyendo este artículo es fácil para mí porque los palabras están en tiempo presente. Palabras en presente son más fácil a comprender para mí. Sin embargo, el artículo tiene palabras difícil también. Las palabras difícil son: recibe, por primera vez, acude, y ofreció. Después leyendo el artículo, yo aprendí algunos palabras nuevos.

“5 técnicas para mantener activas las neuronas”
En este artículo, es sobre de mejorando memorias en vida. En el mundo de hoy, tecnología está haciendo nuestra memoria mal. Nosotros dependemos de computadoras por todo cada día. Este artículo dice que nosotros no usamos nuestro cerebro mucho para recordar cosas. Nuestro cerebro es adicto a technologia. Así que, nosotros no recordamos las cosas. Technologia es todo para nos. Pero nuestras memorias puede mejorar. Este son las cinco técnicas para ayudar a tiene memoria buena. Primero es tener una buena noche sueño, beba agua, coma pescado, ejercicio, y finalmente, socializer en la vida, no con la tecnología.
De leyendo este artículo, yo aprendí que technology no ayuda nos mucho, pero a hacernos no inteligente. En mi opinión, tecnologías nos ayude. Yo tengo un iPhone y esto hizo mi vida más fácil. Todas las cosas está organizado en mi iPhone. Tecnología ayuda mucho con mis estudios y con mi personal vida porque todo son en un lugar. Es bastante fácil para mí.
Yo elegí este artículo porque es informativo y interesante. A veces me olvido las cosas y sabiendo estos consejos son bueno para mí. “Crianza positiva de los hijos”
En el mundo hoy, niños siguen a sus padres en la casa y en la vida. Los años primeros de la vida de un niño son muy importantes para su salud y desarrollo. Es por eso que, los padres tienen ser un buen modelo para su niños a seguir. Cuando padres tiene un bebé, ellos tienen ser felîz y suave a su bebé porque el bebé es desarrollo. Bebés tienen que ser consolado porque ellos no saben nada. Cuando el bebé es viejo suficiente a empezar preescolar, los padres tienen que enseñar ellos ser independiente primero. En preescolar, los niños son con su maestros, no con su padres nunca más. Cuando los niños crecen, ellos van a tener actitud positiva causa de sus padres.
Elegí este artículo porque yo tengo dos primos pequeños y un bebé primo. Es interesante a leer este articulo porque yo puede aprender a ayudar mis primos crecer mentalmente. De leyendo este artículo, yo aprendí que niños necesitan mucho soporte para ellos a crecer mentalmente y físicamente. Padres que son divertidos, inteligente, y simpáticos son más probable a tienen niños buenos y inteligentes, en mi opinión.
Leyendo este artîculo es bastante fácil. Las palabras son similar a las palabras que aprendí en la clase de español uno en grado nueve. Además, este artículo tiene más verbos porque de las instrucciones para los padres y lo tiene más adjetivos que otras artículos también.

How Does One Find Peace?
In Globalization class, I read the book In the Shadow of the Banyan by Vaddey Ratner. The book is about an 8 year-old girl Raami who's family taken into custody by the Khmer Rouge during the Cambodian genocide. Raami and her family faced many hardships and obstacles that seem like they were impossible to overcome, however she managed to find peace through it all and move on with life. I chose to create an info-graphic about peace because it is a necessity of life and necessary for true happiness.
How Do People Cope with Dictators?
In Globalization class, I read a book called The Feast of the Goat, written by Mario Vargas Llosa. It was about the violent and manipulative dictator Trujillo. This book really takes you into the lives of the people closest to the famous Dominican dictator, and gives you a look at what happened under the surface of things. For my info graphic I looked into what it is about dictators that changes people and their daily lives, and how they react to drastic change in a system. I watched two films for this project, One called Bringing Down The Dictator, and the other a documentary of CIA clips of Trujillo.
Student Voices at AERA Conference
Yesterday, Marlyn and Edgar had a chance to present their writing at the American Education Research Association conference. After reading The Things They Carried, my students were asked to blend truth and fiction and write a story of their own. Ultimately, students submitted their work blindly (only ID # were used, names were not included in submission) and a judging committee made up of 12th grade students, parents, teachers, researchers, graduate students, and a professor chose the winners. I am so proud of all my students and congratulations to Marlyn and Edgar.

“Latinos Siguen Reinando en las Grandes Ligas”

Esta semana, mi autor favorito está vuelta, y con otro artículo de béisbol. Éste, sin embargo, no es totalmente sobre los Phillies (como la mayoría de estos artículos), pero es parcialmente sobre los Phillies y parcialmente sobre la presencia de jugadores latinos en en las grandes ligas. Aproximadamente veinticuatro por ciento de los jugadores que empiezaron la temporada en el lunes pasados estaban nacieron en America Latina. Mientras es menos que el porcentaje de veinticinco la temporada pasada, es aún un número grande y bueno para la comunidad de America Latina. De esos jugadores quién están represando America Latina en las grandes ligas, ochenta y dos son de la República Dominicana. Venezuela tiene el segundo mejor con cincuenta y nueve jugadores.
En cuanto a los Phillies, su temporada empezó en el lunes en Arlington, Texas, con un partido contra los Rangers. Los Phillies tienen algunos jugadores que son de America Latina. Su receptor Carlos Ruiz, es de Panamá, y también ellos tienen un par de lanzadores que son de Cuba. Los Phillies empezaron a su temporada bastante fuertemente; ellos ganaron 14-10. Jimmy Rollins bateó un grand slam en la victoria.
