“Ayuda a Morir”


¿El muerte una medicina? Segun de un juez en Nueva México, es asi. Diferente que suicidio asistido, ahora es legal en Nueva México para los enfermos terminales que decidir en cuando termina su vida, y para médicos de prescribir el muerte como un tratamiento posible.  Segun de un juez diferente, el “No se imagina un derecho más fundamental, más privado y más integral de libertad, seguridad y felicidad de un neomexicano que el derecho de un paciente (mentalmente) competente y enfermo a elegir ayuda para morir”.

Este fallo deja dos medicos, Katherine Morris y Aroop Mangalik, bajan libres en sus casos involucrando esta tema. Ahora, gracias a este resolución, ellos no pueden estar procesado legalmente para ayudando los muertes de sus enfermos por prescribiendo las medicinas ellos necesitaban para terminar sus vidas. Nueva México está esperando dirigir por exemplo, como solo tres estados otros, Washington, Oregon, y Vermont, tiene leyes de muerte asistida. Eso necesite que cambiar. No me parece injusto para muerto asistido ser considerado suicidio asistido, porque es sus derechos como médicos y enfermos para decidir cuando quieren morir, y evitar el sufrimiento al fin de la vida. Ellos merecen de morir en sus propios términos. Es importante.

Nominaciones al Óscar 2014: ¿Quién ganará?  


Anoche, los nominaciones para el Óscar premios estaban anunciando. Es el ochenta sexta año de los Oscars, y hay mucho nominaciones.  

Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Judi Dench, y Meryl Streep son nombran por mejor actriz del año. Nosotros pensamos que Sandra Bullock va a ganar mejor actriz del año por sus película, “Gravity.” “Gravity” es una película de espacio.

Para la premio mejor actor del año, los nominaciones son Christian Bale, Bruce Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chiwetel Ejiofor y Matthew McConaughey.  Pensamos que Leonardo DiCaprio va a ganar este premio porque de su rendimiento asombroso en “The Wolf on Wall Street.”

Nosotros pensamos Bradley Cooper va a ganar contra Barkhad Abdi, Michael Fassbender, Jonah Hill, y Jared Leto por mejor actor secundario. Bradley Cooper estaba en la película “American Hustle.” Por mejor actriz secundario, nosotros pensamos Jennifer Lawrence va a ganar contra Sally Hawing, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, y June Squibb. Jennifer Lawrence estaba en la pelicula “American Hustle” con Bradley Cooper.

Los nominaciones para la premio Mejor Director del Año son David O. Russell para “American Hustle,” Alfonso Cuaron para “Gravity,” Alexander Payne para “Nebraska,” Steve McQueen para “12 Years a Slave,” y Martin Scorsese para “The Wolf of Wall Street.”  Pensamos que Steve McQueen va a obtener este premio.  Su película era muy, muy bien y pensamos que él merece el crédito.

Finalmente, el Mejor Película del Año nominaciones son  “American Hustle”, “Captain Phillips”, “Dallas Buyers Club”, 'Gravity”, “Her”, “Nebraska”, “Philomena”, “12 Years a Slave” y “The Wolf of Wall Street”.  Pensamos que “American Hustle” va a ganar este premio.  Todos los películas son muy impresionante, pero “American Hustle” simplemente es el mejor.

Fallece el tío Phil, de ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’



Yo recuerdo el día yo oído sobre el fallece de James Avery. Yo estaba acostada en el borde de la cama de mi hermana cuando ella, en shock, me llamó.

“¡CECE!” Ella gritó como ella me miró de su teléfono.

“¿Qué pasa?” Yo pregunté.

“¡Yo no sabía que James Avery murió!

“¿En serio?”

Ella explicó que el artículo dijo: James “murió a los 65 años de edad debido a complicaciones durante una operación cardiaca.”

Mientras James Avery es un hombre bueno, y vamos a extrañar él, yo no puedo ayudar pero preguntar, ¿porque son los falleces de celebridades el más espantoso? Yo entiendo que celebridades tiene muchos admiradores y ellos tienen películas, videos, cantantes, etc. mundial, pero cuando un personaje famoso muere, gente actúan como si ellos saben en realidad.

Yo sé para un facto que cuando Leonardo DiCaprio muere, yo sin duda voy a perder mi cerebro. Fallece es un difícil asignatura para me. Yo no tengo miedo fallece, pero cuando es una persona que me importa sobre, es de repente el más peor cosa del mundo.

Que me preocupa es que los falleces de celebridades favorecedor una puerta para personas en línea ser aparte de un grupo social simplemente para el tendencia de Twitter o para “comos” en Facebook. Cuando Paul Walker de Fast and the Furious muerte, muchas personas quien no sabían Walker, estaban tweeting sobre él y recibiendo muchos “retweets” y “favoritas”. Como yo lo entiendo, muchas personas del internet, especialmente adolescentes, usan tragedias como fallece sólo porque es un tendencia y completamente olivdan sobre lo el día que viene.

Descanse en paz, Avery James.

Kershaw con un contrato nuevo

Este artículo se trata de contrato de un jugador llamada Clayton Kershaw. Clayton Kershaw, quien solamente veinticinco años es hizo mucho dinero juega béisbol. Pero este contrato es el recordó en la historia de béisbol. El contrato de Kershaw es 215 millones de dólares por seis años. Este contrato impuso contras el contrato de Justin Verlander, un lanzador quien el contrato es 180 millones de dólares por seis años también. Pero las lanzas de Verlander en años pasados es cambio. Ahora Kershaw es un lanzador mejor. El contrato de 215 millones dólares es no pregunta por los Dodgers, el equipo de Kershaw. Yo pienso el lanzador este recibió un contrato mejor próximo es Cliff Lee, el lanzador por Los Filadelfia Filles porque él es un lanzador mejor en este generación. El vocabulario que yo aprendí en el artículo es acuerdo. La palabra de acuerdo es obtener. Our Photosynthesis Lesson

My name is Jaiye Omowamide. I worked with 3 other students in Team 6, and this is our presentation about the system commonly known as photosynthesis. We cover all of the topics about photosynthesis, including the function, cycle, and equation. Before learning about photosynthesis, the group thought that only plants used this process but after researching photosynthesis, it was found that bacteria and protists also use it. Next project we will make a bigger effort to research and divide tasks evenly between everyone.

Los Actores y Los Oscars


Los Oscars son sólo en la curva y América se excita. ¿Por qué? La mayoría de los Americanos están tan disgustados con sus propias que deben invertir mucho en la vida de los otros. De todos modos, me encanta los Oscars. Hollywood es muy fresco y los actores son realmente todas las personas increíbles y modelos a seguir fántasticos. Nosotros debemos modelar nuestras vidas específicamente por completo después de que ellos. 


Las nominaciones fueron liberados al público recientemente y muchos acrotes están haciendo un gran regreso a la luz. Actores como Christian Bale, DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper y Jonah Hill. Vaya, qué lista tan fantástica de la grande gente. Mi favorio en la lista es Bale, por su trabajo en películas como The Machinist, American Psycho, y The Fighter. Si la gente sólo busca pasar “Batman” verán que Bale es uno de los mejores actores de nuestro tiempo. Muy bueno. DiCaprio es bueno también. 


Pero en serio muchos admiradores de medios grandes como películas y programas de TV son delirante y locos. Los admiradores envirá incluso amenazas de muerte a actores que tiene personajes les disgusta. La esposa de “Breaking Bad” 
era tan odiada por admiradores que la actriz recibió miles de amenazas. 


Bueno, es un mundo enfermo y retorcido pero por lo menos al fin de cuentas todos podemos relajar y ver los Oscars.

Lets Learn Respiration!

We, the team of four have come together to create a respiration presentation to teach our classmate. We had done much research and also collaboration. We had learned a lot about respiration throughout these past few weeks. The team wanted to find out and learn about how much of an important role respiration have. Questions that we had in mind are, "Do respiration occurs in both living and nonliving?", " How do respiration help living things?", "What benefit does it really have?" etc. There were ongoing things we had wondered bout, but overall we wanted to learn everything about respiration in order to achieve a strong foundation and understanding in respiration.
We learn that there many steps in respiration, but the three main steps are...
1. Glucose split into pyruvate. 
2. Pyruvate is broken down into CO2 (Krebs Cycle).
3.ATP is made when CO2 is made. (Electrons transport chain)
Although we have a good stand with respiration, we are hoping to learn more. For next time, we will make an outline that shows the important parts, then add all the bits and details. We will also use more clear picture, because we notice our recent pictures are a bit pix elated.

This is our presentation on Cellular Respiration

What we wanted to learn was how respiration worked, what cycle it uses, what produces energy during cellular respiration.One important thing that we learned was that cellular respiration with oxygen and without oxygen result in different thing. Cellular respiration with oxygen or lack of oxygen results in fermentation that becomes ethanol or lactic acid.When enough oxygen is present the krebs cycle take place. One thing we would change would be to add a voice over to the slides, we think it would have added a nice touch to the presentation.

Los Jugadores de Béisbol Negocian los Contratos  


En el año de 2013, mucho jugadores de béisbol tenían jugar bueno y ahora digan preguntar los equipos si ellos van a aumento de los salarios de los jugadores. En el futuro de béisbol, los jugadores van a obtener mucho dinero por juegan béisbol. Por ejemplo Clayton Kershaw, quien es el futuro hall of famer es pregunta sus equipo si ellos van a pagar él mucho dinero o no. Si sus equipo dar él mucho dinero entonces él va a obtener mucho dinero. En está generación mucho jugadores usan esteroides a juegan béisbol y ellos quieren mucho dinero. No, yo pienso ellos es nunca obtenían mucho dinero porque ellos son tramposos. Yo pienso jugadores como Kershaw en el futuro es va a hizo mucho dinero por el talento de él y no uso esteroides por jugar béisbol. El vocabulario que yo aprendí en el artículo es lanzador. La palabra de lanzador es un persona quien lanza un béisbol. Yo encontrado la palabra en esta sentencia en el artículo. “Clayton Kershaw y Max Scherzer, lanzadores que vienen de ganar el premio Cy Young, sobresalen dentro de un grupo de 146 jugadores que se someterán al arbitraje salarial.”(fox deportes)

Los Productos Más Curiosos y Disparatados del CES

Recientemente, fue una conferencia en la ciudad Las Vegas del estado Nevada de los Estados Unidos. La conferencia se llama (en Ingléss) Consumer Electronics Show. El conferencia tiene muchas personas profesionales que inventaron y vendieron cosas electronicas electronicas. Esta conferencia está para personas que compran cosas electronicas nuevas.

Hay muchas cosas nuevas a el Consumer Electronics Show. Algunos de los electronicos en el Consumer Electronics Show es un impresora 3D de azúcar. Los terrones de azúcar hay cosas de arte moderno. Antes de yo leí este artículo, yo no sé la palabra “impresora”. Pero ahora, yo se que “impresora” hay “printer” en inglés. Antes de yo leí el artículo, “Los Productos Más Curiosos y Disparatados del CES” yo también  aprendí la palabra “terrones”. “Terrones” en Inglés es “lumps”.


Pero el impresor de terrones de azucar no es el solo cosa electronica que hay a el Consumer Electronics Show. En el conferencia hay un invención de una bombillo muy especial. En ingles, la palabra “bombillo” es “bulb”. Como un bombillo de luz. Este bombillo es especial porque cuando no hay electricidada en la casa, el bombillo puede trabajar sin electricidad. El bombillo no es muy fuerte. El bombillo puede trabajar por cinco o seis horas sin electricidad.

Frío Extremo Debido al Calentamiento


Calentamiento Global es un problema grande. Calentamiento Global es cuando la tierra tiene un cambio de temperatura grande. El cambio de la temperatura es caliente.


La Casa Blanca es el casa de el presidente de los Estados Unidos de América, Barack Obama, y la familia del Presidente Obama.


Actualmente en los Estados Unidos de América, no hay clima que es muy malo. En los Estados Unidos de América, el clima es muy, muy frío. La Casa Blanca informó a en un vídeo que el frío clima es el resultado de los problemas del Calentamiento Global.


John Holdren es el consejero de ciencias y tecnología en la Casa Blanca. El artículo explicó el punta y visión de John Holdren. Esto es que el artículo dijo sobre la punta de John Holdren : “Este argumenta además que la causa de estas bajas temperaturas es el vórtice polar, que es una corriente de aire cuya intensidad depende de la diferencia de temperatura entre el Ártico y las latitudes medias en el hemisferio norte.”


Yo aprendí nueva vocabulario de este artículo. Yo aprendí que paradójico es “paradoxical” en Inglés. Yo aprendí que meteorológicos es “meteorological” en Inglés.

Yo decidí escribir sobre este artículo porque este artículo es un evento actual.

All About Me Slide

When I first did my slide, I honestly had no idea of what my slide was going to have on it or how the layout would be. I did some research but I still was very clueless. I decided to find some images of what I like to do or what represents me and put it on a slide, but now that I have seen all the other slides, I decided to cut back on the images and have a little bit more of an interesting background as well as finding different images that made the slide a bit more connected and not separated by white space.

I learned a lot from the in class presentations which made me want to revisit the sources that were given to us from Ms.Hull on canvas. I really liked how Alicia spaced out the letters in her title so I thought it would be nice to borrow that idea from her and incorporate that into my new slide. I learned from the sources to use the rule of the thirds, which I attempted to do on my first slide but was more successful this time around. From the Design Slide website I read how color was important while making a slide because it draws the viewers yes to it so on my slide I tried to use bright colors that were from the same color palette. I used a white background because I found it way easier to find colors to contrast with it. From Presentation Zen I learned that your slide should stick to one point and I believe I was successful with that. My slide stayed with the theme on traveling so I used colors the represent the earth, I used a image that displayed the world map, and my quote/definition talked about traveling and wanderlust. I really tried to leave some empty space so that my slide wouldn't look cluttered just like the website Presentation Zen mentioned. Overall i feel really proud not only about my new side design but more so how much I learned and how much I grew from my first slide to now.

The life of Malcolm X By: Todd Samuels Jr. Malcolm X or Malcolm Little was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 1925. His father was a preacher who spoke of the “black man” so to speak not having a place in this “White America” which later on played a major role on Malcolm’s later teachings becoming the leader of the “Black Muslims”. During Malcolm’s formative years his father was killed. It was rumored that his father had been taken hostage and was put on to train tracks where he was run over and tragically killed. He was found with a strike in the back of his head like he was knocked out with a hammer or weight before being placed on the tracks. After the death of Malcolm’s father his mother went into a very deep depression. She was placed in a mental home. All of her children were split up and sent to various foster homes. Malcolm did great in junior high school though he dropped out when he told his teacher that he would like to practice law, he teacher told him "no realistic goal for a nigger". While living with his half sister in Boston Massachusetts he worked odd jobs. He lived a life of crime he was a hustler. Common crimes he committed were drug dealing, gambling, robbery, and pimping. In 1946 When Malcolm was in prison he became a part of the Nation of Islam. He was paroled in 1952 and quickly became one of the leaders of The Nation of Islam. While Malcolm was in prison he met a man named John Bembry. Malcolm later described this man in his autobiography he said "the first man I had ever seen command total respect ... with words". Once Malcolm was released from jail he met Elijah Muhammed in Chicago. Over the next few months he expanded Temple’s in multiple cities such as Boston and Philadelphia. The more large Malcolm became the more he was threatened and watched by the FBI or other people that were making threats on his life because he had eventually split from The Nation of Islam. He had become the face of muslim people he had taken over in a sense he had become larger than Elijah Muhammed. In 1955 Malcolm met the woman who would become his wife Betty Sanders. Together they had six children all girls including a set of twins that were born after Malcolm was assassinated. In the late 50’s Malcolm began to use the name Malcolm Shabazz or Malik el-Shabazz. He for the most part was still referred to as “X” though. Tension between Malcolm and The Nation of Islam grew. They continued to make death threats towards him. Elijah Muhammed said in a speech that "hypocrites like Malcolm should have their heads cut off." which shows the power struggle building between them both. On February 21, 1965, Malcolm X was preparing his speech for a crowd of 400+ people when a person yelled out; "Nigger! Get your hand outta my pocket!". As Malcolm and his bodyguards attempted to quiet the uproar a man with a sawed off shotgun ran up and shot X in the chest. Two other gunman with semi-automatic pistols also shot Malcolm multiple times. At 3:30pm Malcolm was pronounced dead. He suffered from 21 gun shot wounds. After Malcolm’s death Elijah Muhammed said, "Malcolm X got just what he preached, "We didn't want to kill Malcolm and didn't try to kill him", Muhammad said. "We know such ignorant, foolish teachings would bring him to his own end." Though he denied any involvement with the murder. After watching “Spike Lee’s Malcolm X” I learned more about who Malcolm X was. By watching his interviews I could tell more about his character. At first he started out as a very radical being. He had such a strong hatred for white people, which during this time alot of blacks did. To gain a better understanding of how Spike Lee directed movies I watched “Do The RIght Thing” which was about the youth in the 80’s and how they dealt with racism after the civil rights era. The Italians still maintained that way of thinking and the blacks boycotted and started a riot against the Italians in the neighborhood. I learned that Spike Lee is very extreme with his actors, he has a lot of 1 on 1 dialogue between each character as well. Denzel Washington said that when he got into character it was hard to come out of character sometimes after leaving the set.
