When you want to know what you need to wear, you must know how to say:
-Temperatures
-Precipitation
-Cloud cover

To ask what weather it is outside, you say "¿Qué tiempo hace?"
To give the exact temperature, you say "Está a ... grados".

Explanation: In order to be able to tell what the weather is in Spanish, you need to know the different types of weather translations. You also need to be able to translate Celsius to Fahrenheit.

¿Qué tiempo hace?- How’s the weather?
hace (bastante) frío- It’s (very) cold
hace (bastante) calor- It’s (very) hot
hace (bastante) sol- It’s (very) sunny
hace (bastante) viento- It’s (very) windy
está (mayormente/parcialmente) nublado- It’s (mostly/ partly) cloudy
está húmedo- It’s humid
está lloviendo- It’s raining llueve(mucho)- It rains(a lot)
está nevando- It’s snowing nieva(mucho)- It snows( a lot)
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit ( celsius x2) +30= fahrenheit
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius ( fahrenheit - 30)/ 2= celsius

You are planning to take a vacation to Barcelona and you need to find out the weather.

In the spanish alphabet, there are 27 letters.
They are pronounced differently from the English alphabet.

When pronouncing any words with the letter "H"... the "H" is silent.

ex. ¡Hola! = ¡Ola!

Saying the numbers in spanish is is easy. To Start off, we will look at a list of numbers 1-10 in spanish.

Then It gets a bid wild. Once you learn 1-10, 11-100 is going to be a little crazy. But dont worry. Here You can see the numbers 1-100 in study-like flashcards. We are teaching you on how to spell the alphabet in spanish and also correct pronunciaion in spanish (the letters you will need to know). In spanish the only letter that is different is ñ.

The Calendar's Days Are Numbered!

If you want to ask for someones birthday, you need to know...

How to ask for someones birthday
How to tell someone your own birthday

Here is a set of quizlet cards to help you learn how to number the calendars days.

When writing the date with numbers, in spanish you flip-flop the the month and the date, so if it was Es el la primero de abril, then you would write 1/4/2012 instead of 4/1/2012 like in English.
Here is the list of the numbers. When saying the date, just use the number - "es el dos de..." - unless it is the first of the month, in which case you say "es el primero de..."

From google images. Remember that the letter v is pronounced like the letter b "beh". For example, nueve is pronounced noo-EY-bey.

En Español, they sing the song ¡Feliz Compleaños! - Happy Birthday! - to the same tune we sing it. Here is a singing taco wishing you a feliz compleaños.
