I learned from the podcast that the author attempted to push the novel as nonfiction. Perhaps people in his day and age believed him toward the end of the 19th century. Shout out to the boys for making a fun podcast to watch. Especially my guy Hayden coming in with the humorous commentary!

This was an episode that really dove deep into the author's intent. I found it particularly interesting that the author didn't intend it to be fiction despite it being all about Dracula, a story told through many generations. I appreciated the flow of the convo and the fact that I was with them in the moment rather than just listening to a podcast.

I learned that the author did not want the book to be fiction which I find very interesting. I really enjoyed how smooth the conversation was and how easy it was for them to bring in information that they learned about the author.
