Episode #2: Girl in Translation

Group members: Anh, Sofia, Giavanna, and Josie. In this episode, we continued on with Kimberly's life. We read chapters 5-8 and make notes about them. We also tie different songs to the chapters that we thought related to the characters. We talked about these songs and made predictions. We chose the Rocky Movie Theme music, "Nice to meet ya!" by Griswolds, "We'll be fine" by Luz, and "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne. The Rocky Movie Theme music represented Matt and his tough fighting styles. "Nice to meet ya" represented Annette's personality that's always cheerful. "Complicated" represented how Aunt Paula makes things complicated for Kim's family.
