Reading Profile: Lotus

Lotus, is the ultimate reader. You can find her curled up in her room, under her covers with a cup tea when she reads! She likes to be comfortable when diving into a good book. Even though she does not read books by Dr. Seuss anymore, she still loves him and some of the classics like “Green Eggs and Ham”. Right now, Lotus is reading a book by Elena Ferrante called “My Brilliant Friend”, in which she describes the book to be someone who is down to earth, skeptical, naive and a little bit childish. On the other hand, you wouldn’t find Lotus reading her book if there is a lot on her mind or there are other stimulants such as a loud t.v. Coming to an end to our interview, I asked, “What genre would your mental state be right now?”, in which she replied saying she was tired and sick, so she would be a weird, slow moving horror story.
