In order to greet someone in Spanish you have to know:

What to say to them.

What they say back

What to say back.


 ¡Hola!= Hi!

¿Como esta?= How are you?

¡Muy Bien!= Good

Maso menos.= Okay

Menos.= Not so good

¿Y tu?=and you?

Igualmente= Likewise

Adios=good bye
